Enormous challenges are being posed to development worldwide in the 21st century,and therefore it is crucial that volunteering community joins efforts towards concerted well-though-out response to these challenges. The International Conference on Volunteerism and Development’2012 is expected to be an important part of such response. It will be an opportunity for the international community to exchange ideas and develop a common vision of the future approach.

The event will revolve round the theme “Volunteerism and Development”,and will be focused on exploring and highlighting the role of volunteerism and its contribution towards development. It is anticipated that the conference program will also include sharing of experience and ideas among the volunteers and development professionals from different countries.
